George Bush and congressional Republicans: 5 years of securing and reconstructing Iraq

The mission that wasn't accomplished:

President Bush: In the battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed. (Applause.) And now our coalition is engaged in securing and reconstructing that country.

Well, they fucked up the securing and reconstructing parts. But I do love how they note the applause for our great and fearless terrorist killer. President Bush is truly a legend in his own mind.

As Keith Olbermann reminds us every night, it's now been 1,825 days since the President declared his mission accomplished.
