What does a flag lapel pin say about the wearer?

What's all this about Obama being a commie pinko because he doesn't wear an American Flag Lapel Pin?

Let's talk about some of those who do wear one:

Rush Limbaugh wears one and took a permanent Vietnam deferment by paying his doctor to keep submitting to the selective service that he had an anal cyst. Anal cysts, also known as finiculitis of the anal sphincter valve, generally heals in 5 to seven days. Rush must have had over 175 cysts in a row.

Dick Cheney wears an American Flag Pin in his lapel. Dick secured 5 educational deferments of varying reasons from the Vietnam War but the outstanding reason was, as he put it: "I have better things to do!"
George Bush has a large American Flag Pin in his lapel. George went A.W.O.L. when his turn to ship to Vietnam came up and his Dad bailed him out. This is your basic cowardice in the face of the enemy, but...well, you know.

Others who wear the flag pin but declined to serve America in her armed forces were:

Fox news Anchor Britt Hume...Not even the boy scouts.
Fox News commentator Fred Barnes. No service.
Geraldo Rivera: Did not serve.
Bill O'Reilly: Did not serve.
Sean Hannity: Did not serve.
Michael Savage: Did not serve.
Newt Gingrich: Two deferments.
Tom DeLay, 3 deferments.
Rep. Henry Hyde (R) Ill. Declined to serve.
Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-Wis.) Decided not to join.
Rep. Bill McCollum (R-Fla) Did not serve.
Rep. George Gekas (R-Pa) Claimed financial deferment for his mother's sake.
Rep. Charles Canady (R-Fa) Two deferments.
Rep. Bob Barr (R-Ga) declined to serve
Rep. Asa Hutchinson (R-Ar) Did not serve.
White House Counsel Karl Rove. (R) Did not Serve
Dan Burton Rep. (R) In. Great at shooting watermelons, failed to join the armed forces.
Former Asst. Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz No service.

No White House Counsels have military experience.

This list is endless.

In additon of the 535 members of Congress who wear flag lapel pins, only five have children serving in active military positions and only one has been deployed to Iraq.

These are just a few of the war mongers who proudly display the flag but piss on it every day.

Wearing the pin doesn't make you patriotic. Not wearing it doesn't make you un-patriotic.

And if there is a law requiring you to place your hand over your heart during the pledge of allegiance or national anthem please forward it to me.
And oh, by the way, neither John McCain nor George Stephanopolous wore a flag pin today. on ABC's This Week news program.
