Bush, Allende, Rice, Pol Pot, Rumsfeld, Stalin, Yoo, and Mussolini and Cheney

Careful, whenever Republicans accuse those of us on the left of being commies and fags and cowards and traitors, it is surely the accusers who are guilty of the worst abuses of our Constitution, our citizens, and our enemies:

Members of the National Security Council’s Principals Committee — Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell, George Tenet, and John Ashcroft — approved the use of these techniques. “Sources said that at each discussion, all the Principals present approved.” According to ABC’s report, Ashcroft indicated he was troubled by the meetings:

According to a top official, Ashcroft asked aloud after one meeting: “Why are we talking about this in the White House? History will not judge this kindly.”

They all failed to prevent the attacks of 9/11, and they were and are too cowardly to uphold the principles upon which this nation was founded in order to rectify those failures.

And bin Laden laughs today at the man who let him go free: George Bush.
