Doug Bruce: How to lose friends and not influence people

First, Republican Doug Bruce had to back down on his outlandish request to be sworn in and given a privileged speaking spot several days after his State House colleagues showed up to work on time.

The Republican House caucus voted 22-1 to tell Bruce to get off his high horse.

Then Republican Doug Bruce proceeded to kick an RMN photog while saying a prayer to his god.

Now he's been fined $10 for missing the El Paso County commissioners meeting because he wouldn't properly resign their for the job he had to have, but didn't want to show up on time to, in Denver.

And to top it all off, the Gazette compared him to part-time drug addict and full-time absent mom Britney Spears. Ouch!
