Schaffer bloggers say saving Piñon Canyon is "hard to justify"
Another one of those dumb, right-wing blogs that pop up, probably under the direction of Dicky "Macaca" Wadhams, can't see what the big deal is about Piñon Canyon:

If more land is needed for maneuver training by the Army, it is hard to justify protecting this kind of land from that use.”I thought conservative meant conserving our resources, too. But most on the right, and too many on the left, think if George W. Bush wants it he should get it post haste.
Susan the Neon Nurse responds thoughtfully:
Yeah, it’s hard for THEM to justify. They haven’t lived on that land for generations. And they don’t even mention the ancient archaeological sites and dinosaur footprint fossils. If these wise guys can’t see any value there, how can there BE any?
