Doug Bruce vow: "to destroy Colorado Springs"
I don't know how I missed this one from my favorite anarchist:
(h/t Wendy at CoCo)When Doug Bruce visited KKTV last week, he signed in at the front desk and wrote "to destroy Colorado Springs" as his reason for being at the television station. (He was actually there for a debate with Mayor Lionel Rivera about ballot questions 200 and 201.)
Something has to be done.
Bruce later told the station he was just joking, but I am not laughing.
Do you go through security at the airport and jokingly say, "I have a bomb"? An elected official has a responsibility to be professional, and I can't find any professionalism in what Bruce wrote - much less any civility.
How our elected officials act is a reflection on our region. Bruce is harming our region's reputation by his antics.
How long will we put up spending time and energy defeating his initiatives? How much money has it cost? Bruce is a county commissioner, but he appears to spend most of his time coming up with plans to hurt the region.

And since no democrat, particularly but not exclusively zappy-baby, doesn't have the courage to run against Dougie, I guess we're stuck with him. You like to whine about him, zappy-baby, but when are you going to do anything other than exercise your mouth?
Do you go to bed at night and dream about Doug Bruce? It seems to me that if one were to start reading all the posts you have entered on to your blog regarding Mr. Bruce, you could come to a conclusion that you have a certain level of infatuation for this gentleman.
I really believe you need to find a hobby or something else to occupy your time and refocus your energies towards.
Those less "progressive" than yourself may begin to talk. ;-)
