Lamborn blindsided by ethics request
Congressman Doug Lamborn said Tuesday that CREW had not contacted him. "I'm not sure what CREW is really up to," he said.
No, they contacted the House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct, the "Ethics" committee, for Doug's stupid, threatening phone messages to a couple of his constituents.
Yeah, he got blindsided, once again, for having to conduct himself ethically. Poor Doug, in way over his head, in a job he should have never been given.

Just out of curiosity, when are they going to investigate Udall and his connection to the felonious fundraiser Hsu?
Post a link next time please. If there's housecleaning to do, we need to do it too. Money and the influence it buys are screwing the entire republic.
Udall gave $1000 to the Colorado National Guard Foundation. That was the same amount this felon had given.
I'd be happy to add that Lamborn knew exactly who the gaming interests were who were donating to his campaign, while Udall did not know that Hsu had a warrant out on him in another state from years ago. Doing a full backgropund investigation on every contributor is not (yet) standard for people running for public office, who often seem to be, well, a bit BUSY during campaigns. And would you really want a person in office who *did* do full background checks on every contributor? It might not bode well for your own future privacy.
