State Senator McElhany (R-Duh) is perfectly happy with Colorado's job situation

How many idiots and fools are serving in elective office from Colorado Springs? We've got Doug Bruce - former slumlord, Dave Schultheis - white supremacist-in-training, and now Andy McElhany opening his big mouth, who thinks the governor should do nothing to improve Colorado's job situation:
"Every time you turn around, this administration is playing footsie with the unions," said Senate Minority Leader Andy McElhany, R-Colorado Springs. "How many other deals have they made with big labor? It is time for the governor to come clean."
These union paranoids from the Springs should check their history books again before resuming the same old complaints against unions. Andy sounds a little like Bob Murray these days. That should be someone he doesn't want to emulate.

And what is Governor Ritter doing that is so bad?

Trying to create more jobs in Colorado:
Ritter was in Larimer County on Monday meeting with educators, business executives and workers in advance of his plan to create a "jobs cabinet" that will advise him on workforce-development issues.

Ritter spokesman Evan Dreyer said the goal of the meetings was to get input on economic development, job creation and workforce-training issues.

Republicans managed to foul up state government pretty good during their time in the majority. Voters clearly say that. Can they please butt out - or at least shut up - when reasonable attempts to improve the private sector are undertaken by our very competent and thoughtful Governor?

To date Slick Willie Ritter has not created one good paying, long-term job in the State of Colorado. To date the only thing Slick Willie Ritter has done is champion higher taxes, make back room deals with union thugs, and encourage companies who do create good paying, long-term jobs to leave the state.

Maybe, blowhard, you should put your money where your mouth is. YOU go out and try to start a business in the anti-business climate Slick Wille Ritter has created in Colorado.

But you won't. It is far easier to sit in front of your computer in cum-stained shorts and verbally masturbate than to do anything of substance. That's the Liberal way.

Too many of our high-paying jobs have left the state, left the country, and gone...just vanished. Not only Ritter, not only Owens, but local governments who've bid against each other with sweet tax deals to companies like Intel only to find out that when the deal period is over, the companies pull out.

And from where I sit, the jobs and the growing markets are in the states where the taxes are higher than in Colorado. And I'm betting it's because the schools have remained good, the infrastructure is still sound, the people tend to be slightly more tolerant of those with whom they don't agree, and they don't assume that anyone speaking something other than English is either a terrorist or a servant.

Of course, speaking of cum-stains, the last time we had a climate where anyone could successfully start a business was when we had a president who porked chubby interns rather than one who outsourced our port security and our military ro very large businesses. I'll bet your company didn't see any trickle-down, did it?

And maybe it's time to stop throwing labels around. Many of us Liberals aren't that keen about Ritter either. He's just another politician and no one should automatically trust anyone who runs for office.
