Beating the crap out of Doug Lamborn (R-Colo Springs)

Why should I do it when GOP Pundit at CPols is willing to do look into Doug Lamborn's staff disintegration:
I reported eleven days ago of possible/imminent staff shake-ups in the Lamborn camp. My source close to Mr. L says there are several things being bandied about, including LAMBORN'S staff disintegration. Here's what to look for. Mark my words - keep your eyes peeled for one or more of these events.
  • A staffer leaving because of an opportunity at a Senator's office.
  • A staffer leaving because of a personal "medical issue."
  • A staffer leaving with no explanation or press release (difficult to notice but my person is in a position to report on this if it occurs)

Lamborn staffers on the hill are reportedly not fond of the Representative; his D.C. staff have also reported conflicts with his Colorado staff - in part due to the extremely young individuals who are in the local office.

My source in DC said Lamborn's local staff/interns are all "homeschoolers with a rose-colored view of the world and absolutely no idea about politics." Now I don't know if it's true but if anyone knows more on this I would be interested in learning more.

Sounds like Lamborn is turning out to be worse than I actually thought he'd be. Where he's not incompetent, he's trying to kill art and Clifford the Big Red Dog, even as he voted to let dog fighting continue without government interference.

Doug's gone after this term. I hope CD-5 voters use their heads a little bit when electing the next congressperson. There's a saying in Texas, I know it's in Tennessee, "Fool me once....."

This is some political speculation, but, if there are going to be any defections from Lamborn's staff, especially his local staff, if Wayne Williams' wife is one to leave, that is a very serious blow to Lamborn. For example, consider http://www.coloradopols.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=2773 Wayne Williams has surely been in a bind with his wife being on Lamborn's paid staff and if his wife should happen to be one to leave, it may suggest Lamborn's most vocal and prominent supporters are bailing out and trying to mend fences with Jeff Crank. That is bad news for Lamborn. As far as I'm concerned, any bad news for Doug Lamborn is good news.
