Salazar: Tough on Alito

Salazar leaning no on Sam Alito for SCOTUS.

Given that the president takes anything he wants, and doesn't have too much respect for the Congress, the Law, or the Courts, why does he even bother with nominating a Justice to replace O'Connor?

I hope Ken Salazar keeps his word and his status as a moderate wrt President Bush's nominees. He can let Wayne Allard vote for Alito. That will be 1 for - 1 against - in Colorado, and would virtually track the 50% support President got in the last election.

It will also let Allard ignore the 55% disapproval ratings of Bush's latest polls in the state while supporting anything and everything the President does.

Hang tough, Ken! You're earned a gold star today.

Ummm, pretty much exactly like that.

MORE PROOF: Bush Lied About Niger/Uranium

As if we needed more proof, Bush lied about Iraq buying uranium from Niger.

Joseph Wilson exonerated.

Colin Powell knew the truth, knew the president was lying.

But, since they can do nothing else, the Bush Administration sticks to lies.
