Salazar.........Again
Salazar is Colorado's Lieberman. He supported Gonzales for AG, the bankruptcy bill, Alito....it goes on & on. He's not a Dem but Republican lite.
This is no surprise to many of us in Colorado. I'd call or write him but have done so so many times as to be totally ineffective. I think he won't believe until what he considers the extreme left can win a victory. That's my hunch anyway. Only gains at the polls will reign him in." - JH on the Western Slope
Says Salazar:
He's a good guy. He's been a principled and good senator. He deserves to be re-elected," Salazar said of Lieberman, a supporter of the Iraq war. "If he doesn't win (the primary), he'll win the general anyway."More from you-know-who.

We all know what Ken 'Nighthorse' Salazar is like. This is disappointing, but not surprising. What I expect will happen is that Lieberman running as an independent will split the Dem votes, and Vermont's senate seat will go to a Republican who will vote exactly like Lieberman.
I swear, though, that if Salazar campaigns for an independent Lieberman over a Democrat, and our state party tries to fund Salazar's next campaign, I will never give the state party another dime or a minute of my time.
