But typical of the Bush Administration they blacked out the news for 24 hours. Maybe they were waiting to see if Dead-eye Dick really killed him. Or figuring out how to blame the guy that Cheney shot. Isn't it the responsibility of hunters to always know where their party is? That would lay the blame at Cheney's feet, or Dead-eye's aim as the case may be.

Of course, true sportsmen don't hunt domestic-raised game on their best friends' ranch, they actually hunt: "The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported today that 500 farm-raised pheasants were released yesterday morning at the Rolling Rock Club in Ligonier Township for the benefit of Cheney's 10-person hunting party. The group killed at least 417 of the birds."

Whoo boy, they musta been hungry.
