Question Posed
by Mike Wallace, in a world in which the president faces his critics:
"What in the world prepared you to be the commander in chief of the largest superpower in the world?"
"In your background, Mr. President, you apparently were incurious, you didn't want to travel, you knew very little about the military; the governor of Texas doesn't have the kind of power that some governors have. Why do you think they nominated you?"
"Do you think that has anything to do with the fact that the country is so [expletive] up?"

1. How come none of our congresscritters are publicly calling for Bush's impeachment? 8 years ago, many congresscritters told us that they had no choice in the matter; that it was their Constitutional duty and obligation to impeach Bill Clinton over a fib about a blow job! Consider this article, in which Bush is quoted as having referred to the Constitution as being "just a goddamned piece of paper"...
2. What's wrong with us Dems? In today's USATODAY, we are told about more covert U.S. propaganda campaigns. This one involves SAIC, which is the company of Jay Fawcett, who wants to represent us Dems in Congress (in place of Joel Hefley), even though SAIC is a key player in the military-industrial complex which brought us the inside job known as 9/11!
3. Wayne Allard and Joel Hefley fail to uphold their oaths of office to preserve uphold protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
4. Ken Salazar not only fails to uphold his Constitutional oath of office, but he also fails to act like a member of an opposition party. But there is much evidence (consider that/how Prescott Bush could have become a U.S. Senator after having fought financially on the wrong side of WW II!) that Dems do not oppose Reps in any meaningful way, and have not for generations. In that sense, most Dem supporters are "useful idiots" who are incapable of recognizing that Dems-vs-Reps is another kind of staged opposition in which figurative punches are pulled and figurative death blows are verboten, not unlike professional wrestling.
Some Dems love to be prepetually fooled (while some Alpha Dems prefer to remain eternally unaware of the evidence...).
Can you connect the dots? Or do you prefer to remain a perpetual fool?
