Does George Care?
This is only a documentary post. The President does not care, the SecDef does not care.
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs? It's strictly a political job. The greater glory to come means you have to sacrifice some chattel. Life's a bitch, ain't it?
Nothing will change. No policies, no plans, no adjustment of resources.
The President rolled the dice on Iraq, and even snake eyes can't make him modify his world view. How can someone ignore so much evidence?
So, this is only for sometime down the road, when we fully document the failures of our nation, to let people know how callous our leadership could be as our sons and daughters were getting their legs, arms, and heads blown to bits.

Seven U.S. troops also were killed on Tuesday and Wednesday, five of them during fighting in and around Ramadi that involved two roadside bombs and a helicopter crash. Ramadi, the capital of Anbar province, is 70 miles west of Baghdad.
One of those soldiers died in the town of Balad, 50 miles north of Baghdad, when his patrol came under fire.
Our loss is now 2036 fine young men and women. Rather than working night and day to resolve this war, George Bush is trying to figure out how to keep Karl Rove on his staff and absolve him of his role in directly harming our national security. Is his own party clamoring for him to take responsibility? No, they are trying to evade it, just as their leader is.
This is the end of this documentary post. How will history judge a man who was more concerned with political victories than his responsibility to defend the Constitution and protect the citizens of the United States of American? Will they say he cared?
I doubt it.
