Do you mean the ones we elect to high public office? For most of them, I'd say invertebrates don't need vacations.
Maybe, they're worried that if they call W an incompetent, inhumane, greedy, paranoid, war-mongering twit, who diverted funds from flood control projects in LA, they themselves will be damned for trying to politicize a national tragedy (and disgrace).
Shame on me for even thinking that.
